Mr. James "Jamey" Korstanje's Obituary
Mr. James S. “Jamey” Korstanje, age 50, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, March 4, 2013. Jamey was born March 5, 1962 in Muskegon to Raymond and Madalyn (Henderson) Korstanje, and was a life resident. He enjoyed reading books and comic books, looking at old family photos, and keeping a positive outlook on his life. Jamey is survived by two brothers, Rock Korstanje of Grand Rapids, Christopher (Laurie) Korstange of Muskegon; one sister, Robin Korstanje of Muskegon; 5 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Madalyn (Henderson) Korstanje. A gathering of family and friends to remember Jamey will be held Tuesday, March 12, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at the V.F.W. Post 7729 located at 6285 E. Apple Avenue. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help offset the unexpected costs.
