James Harold Krepps' Obituary
James Harold Krepps age 95, of Ravenna, MI died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Mercy General Health Partners-Hackley Campus.
James was born on September 29, 1921 in Muskegon, MI. to the late William and Francis (Dunnebach) Krepps. He served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946. He married Beverly J. (Elwell) Krepps on November 29, 1947. She preceded him in death on December 6, 1995.
James is survived by: 3 Sons: Tom (Pegge) Krepps of Grandville, MI, Steve (Nancy) Krepps of Coopersville and Tony Krepps of Parowan, Utah. 6 Grandchildren: Sally, Kelly, Craig, Eric, Christopher and Jessica. 10 Great Grandchildren: Brianna, Emma, Graham, Travis, Carter, Regina, Justina, Savanna, Layla and Emma. 1 Sister: Verona Weick of Houston, TX. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly and 4 Brothers: Frank, George, Thomas and Ed. A very special friend Marge Hile.
Funeral Services for James H. Krepps will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. Burial will follow at Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Friday, August 25 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to greet friends.
