Mr. James M. LaRue's Obituary
Mr. James “Jamie” M. LaRue, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26. He was born on November 6, 1961 to James and Barbara (Charles) LaRue in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Jamie stayed busy fishing, swimming with his brother, Mark, and going out to the lake. He liked to camp and was constantly working with his hands. He was a sports fan, cheering on the Detroit Tigers and the Michigan Wolverines. Jamie served his country proudly while in the Air Force. Nothing was as important to Jamie as his family and the time he spent with them. Jamie is survived by his triplets, Benjamin, Matthew and Jenna; mother, Barb; brothers, Mark, Jeff (Chris) and Joel (Janet); and 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at 4 PM at Friendship Wesleyan Church (1761 N. Roberts Rd, Muskegon) with Pastor Chad Fessenden officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Please feel free to share a memory with the family on their online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
