James Patrick McCaleb's Obituary
James Patrick McCaleb, 82, went to meet his Savior face to face on June 5, 2021. James was born to Francis Rush and Margaret Evelyn McCaleb on February 24, 1939, in Grand Haven, Michigan. James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and David. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 64 years, Rose Marie; children Brenda Krosnes, Gary (Erin), Mark (Ruth), Teresa Reyes, Annette (Kevin) Shuff; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brother, John (Geri); many nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends. James was an outgoing, social guy that loved being near his friends and family. He had a love for real country and gospel music. He enjoyed playing guitar with friends and his son, Gary. He spent many good times hunting with his father and brother Dave. James also loved riding his motorcycles, he passed both hunting and riding passions on to both of his sons. He was employed with Anderson Boling of Spring Lake, Michigan. James was a long-time member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and enjoyed sharing his faith with others.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Lakeshore Baptist Church, Grand Haven, MI with Pastor Nate Birkholz officiating. Followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. Memorials to Hospice of North Ottawa Community are appreciated.
