James E. Misner's Obituary
Mr. James Misner, age 79, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born on September 21, 1937 in Manistee, Michigan to Clarence and Molly (Maternoski) Misner and lived in that area most of his life. Jim married his beloved wife, Patricia Greer, on June 21, 1957 in Muskegon. He was a lifelong salesman and had owned Misner Associates for over 25 years. Jim loved people and always could share a good laugh. He was a member of the Muskegon Vikings and enjoyed traveling, golfing, good food, fishing and his “cribbage” guys; but foremost was always the company of his good friends and family. SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 59 years, Pat; son, Steve (Audrey) Misner; grandchildren, Kyle and Jack Misner and James (Ashley) Makin; sister-in-law, Rene Greer; and his brother-in-law, William (Carmel) Greer. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Makin. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 19, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100.
