James I. Moore's Obituary
Mr. James I. Moore, age 83, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 7, 1935 to Donald and Julia (DeMuth) Moore. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was employed by Sealed Power/SPX Corporation for 30 years prior to his retirement. Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the family cabin. On March 2, 1957, Jim married the former Marilyn Baumgras and she survives him along with their son, Michael (Mary) Moore; grandchildren, Theresa (Eric) Bodell, Brian (Rena) Moore, Jason (Heather) Moore, Kristine Minyard, Joannie Carlson; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Breanna, Michael, Eric, Kodi, Jenna; great-great-grandson, Skylar; son, Richard (Beth) Moore; grandchildren, Lauren (Kevin) Whitley, Brittany (Denny) Snook, Jared Sandness; great-grandchildren, Kroix, Ryker, Moreese, Dorian, Natalia; and his faithful dog, Bear. According to Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. MEMORIALS in memory of Jim may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
