James Norman Ryan's Obituary
James N. Ryan, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Muskegon, MI. He was born to George and Gertrude (Parker) Ryan on March 12, 1937, in Muskegon, MI. James went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1955 to 1963. In June of 1962 he married the love of his life, Anna B. McCombs. He was known to many for his passion of racing cars at many different racetracks around West Michigan. He was also a handyman who always found a fix to something that was broken. He is survived by his children: Michael (Sally) Ryan, Mitchell (Tina) Ryan and Michelle (Michael) Marquez; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude Ryan; his wife, Anna Ryan; sister, June Dawes and brother, William Ryan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory can be made to Thunderbird Raceway.
