James L. "Jim" Sikkenga's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James “Jim” Sikkenga. Jim, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on December 25, 2022. Jim was born on November 1, 1959, to Arthur and Margaret Sikkenga. He graduated from Orchard View High School in 1979 and worked at Muskegon Automotive for over 40 years, where he created many long-lasting friendships.
Jim will be remembered as a fun-loving uncle, brother, and friend, who loved to golf and laugh with people around him. He had an infectious smile that will stay with us, always. Jim led a simple life, but when he loved someone or something, he did it with all that he had.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Patricia (Robert) Temple, Debra Coy, and Jerry (Virginia) Sikkenga, also many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
