Mr. James Marvin Singleton's Obituary
James Marvin Singleton, age 59, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. Jim was born June 4, 1956 to David E. and Darlene M. (Fralick) Singleton in Muskegon. He was employed as a machinist for Continental Motors/L3 for over 30 years retiring in 2010. Jim had served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. In retirement, he enjoyed cooking and delivering meals to his co-workers. He also liked woodworking and camping. Jim is SURVIVED by his companion of 20 years, Sharon Slaght; his daughter, Shannon (Mark Hanson) Singleton of Prescott, AZ; granddaughters, Madison and Sydney; his sister, Diane (Kevin) Smith; brothers, Robert (Jane) Singleton, Steve (Linda) Singleton and Bruce Singleton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A VISITATION will be held 2-5 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231 726-5210. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
