My grandson loved to see Jim's model railroad set-up and wept when I told him of his passing.....we all wept a little. Good guy, good heart, good neighbor...George Doyle
Dear family, our thoughts are with you as you say goodbye to this wonderful man whose friendship we enjoyed so much over the years. We always felt a special relationship with Jim and Barb, and even though we didn't see them often they meant a lot to us. Lots of laughs, serious conversations, sometimes even tears - they are missed. Hugs to all of you, Phil (Jim's little Dutchman friend) and Janet
Jim's family at Mississippi Christian Family services will miss u but your smile will love on forever in our hearts. To the family, be encouraged thru the word of God. Love y'all.
I want to extend my sympathy to the Start family. I have many memories of Jim visiting with my dad and Cliff in the funeral home office. Jim came to my mom's service in January and I'm so glad I saw him then. God's blessings to all of you.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. For the McCarty family may peace fall upon you all during this sorrowful time. I love you very much.
Dear Start Family,

We are so sorry to hear about Jim. I cannot count all the times he would come over and visit with dad out at the pole barn. We always admired his beautifully mowed yard every summer. We will keep your family in our thoughts & prayers.
