I had the pleasure of working with Jim @ D&W pharmacy back in 1985/86. I can say he was one of my favorite people to work with. Always kind and smiling and helpful. He will be missed.

Dave, so sorry to hear of the passing away of your dad. He sounds like he was a very special person and a pleasure to have known. You are also a very pleasant , kind, and nice person. Perhaps inherited. Please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. He was blessed to have you assist in his care. Blessings, Marilyn Buikema, RN BSN

I was lucky enough to spend many years at the farm. The best days of my youth were spent there. Jim was patient and kind, always willing to teach this young little city girl how to handle Haji and then Kev. Mary, Jimmy, David, and Karen and your families I have so many great memories with your family. He was truly a great mentor, husband, father, and grandfather.

Mary & family, so sorry for your loss. Jim was such a great person. Best pharmacist, great farmer and horse person. He always had that twinkle in his eye and his ready laughter. He will be missed. Love, Jerry & Sue Koopman
Condolences to all the families upon hearing of Uncle Jim’s passing. So many wonderful memories of long ago... gatherings, laughter & “duck blood soup”. Soft spoken with a twinkle in his eyes, his laugh and smile will always stay with me. Today as I finished up mowing, the Blue Angels flew over our house as a tribute to our Detroit area Covid19 frontline responders, I silently said a prayer to all whose lives are/have been touched by this and how grateful we are for our Medical/Military family members. Years go by but the memories of you all still brighten my days. Love & prayers to all, Sid
