James Frederick Taylor's Obituary
Mr. James Frederick Taylor, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Spring Lake, Michigan. He was born in Fruitport, Michigan on September 28, 1935 to Stanley and Myrtle (Esterquest) Taylor. James was veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Pattern Maker at Anderson Global for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1997. James enjoyed trying his luck at the local casinos, traveling, cutting his grass with his John Deere, and helping his friend, Fred, with crazy projects. He also looked forward to his monthly breakfast at the Cherokee restaurant with his buddies from Anderson Pattern. He loved Disneyworld, his grand dogs, but his highlight was family time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James is survived by his children, Karla (Joe) Kirchhoff, Troy (Sue) Taylor, Kimberly Osborn, and Lisa (Ed) Brady; grandchildren, Andy (Gail) Kirchhoff, Amanda Balcom, Austin Kirchhoff, Michael Durga, Samantha (Andrew) Huitema, Brittany (Eathan) Crews, Danielle Taylor, Kayla Webber, and Brandon Brady; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sue (Ken) Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Taylor; and siblings, Barb Paull, Marilou Pringle, and Dan Taylor. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE will be held. Burial will be in Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery. You may sign his online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com
