James A. Ward's Obituary
James A. Ward age 74 of Muskegon, MI died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born on September 13, 1941 in Muskegon, MI to the late A.B. “Abe†and Ruth (Gorman) Ward. He married Janis (Sukup) Ward on June 2, 1962 in Muskegon, MI. Jim served his country in the Army from 1958-1962. He worked for the Muskegon Co. Waste Water until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janis Ward of Muskegon; 1 Daughter, Jill Ward; 2 Sons, James Ward and Jeffery (Michelle) Ward all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Erika, Taylor, Parker, Olivia, and Braxton; 3 Sisters, Charlene Basch, Linda (Mike) McPhall both of Muskegon and Debra Knight of Ferrysburg; many nieces and nephews and loving in-laws; and long-time friend, Ted Halasinski of Spring Lake.
Jim was preceded in death by his Brother in-law, Charles Basch and 2 Nephews, Bryan and Charles "Chuckie" Basch.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 1:00 at Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1860 E. Hile Rd. in Muskegon.
