James Wayne Wilson's Obituary
James W. Wilson, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Twin Lake, MI. He was born to Wayne and Sophie (Kochmanski) Wilson on May 25, 1942, in Muskegon. On March 16, 1968, he married the love of his life, Janet K. Jacobs in Muskegon, MI. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, watching baseball and football, listening to country music, watching westerns and most of all spending time with his family. He will also be remembered as a hard worker, someone who could fix anything and someone who was an all-around handyman, crafter and wood worker. James is survived in death by his wife: Janet K. Wilson; children: Jolene (George) Fredericks; grandchildren: Jimmy Fredericks, Josie Fredericks, and his dog Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Wayne and Sophie Wilson and his sister, Ailene Tamulis. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
