James H. Wood, Jr. of Muskegon passed away November 4, 2014. He was born September 9, 1957 to James H. Wood Sr. and Darlene Wood in Traverse City. James was a local businessman working at the family insurance company. He is survived by his parents; son, Michael (Amanda) Wood; daughter, Jennifer Wood; life partner, Vickie Wood; grandchild, Makenna Wood; brother, Jeff (Dawn) Wood; sister, Kim Wood; and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his grandparents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for James will be held at Fellowship Reformed Church, 4200 Apple Ave., at 4:30 PM on Friday November 7, 2014. A time of fellowship will follow the services at the church hall. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
