James A. Christiansen's Obituary
Mr. James A. Christiansen, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Poppen Residence. He was born on June 22, 1938 to Gerald Christiansen and Mary Ethel Dell-Fisher in Coopersville, MI. Jim worked as a truck driver for Dupont-Conoco until his retirement in 1985. He belonged to the Fruitport Eagles and was a member of the Teamsters Union #406. On June 24, 2008, he married Sally Ann Cooley and she survives him along with his 2 sons, James (Heidi) Christiansen and Ralph Christiansen both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Alec Cargill, Caitlyn Peek, Mallory Christiansen, Dylan “Teddi” Christiansen and Gabrielle “Gabby” Christiansen; sisters, Janet Christiansen and Barbara (Ron) Veihl; and brother, Lee Christiansen; Jim was preceded in death by his father, Gerald. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held 4-7 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 Memorials to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
