Mr. James A .Graves,age 43, died Wednesday evening October 7,2009.He was born Oct.5th 1966 in Muskegon Mi.to James And Karen Graves and had resided his whole life in the Muskegon area. Jim enjoyed being a father,collecting antique swords and knives along with an Indian collection. He also loved to hike and camp. He loved his music, especially one he could relate to the lyrics. He is survived by his father and mother of Muskegon, 1 Sister Barbara Goulet (hagan) 2 brothers Kevin and Matthew Graves all of Muskegon .Two daughters Lisa Minzey,Jamie Graves,1 son James Robert Graves 1 Granddaughter Jasmine Minzey.His extended family Michael Swarts and Jenna Eitmier and their children.His best friend of 32 years Don Larabee and very good friend Marcy Switzer. His favorite prayer was "Dear Lord so far today , I have done alright. I haven't gossiped,haven't lost my temper,been greedy,grumpy,nasty,selfish,or over-indulgent. I am very thankful for that! However in a few minutes, I am going to get out of bed. And from then on as you are aware,I will be needing a lot of your help Amen..." He was a great father and Loved his children with all his heart. He is loved! And will be missed very much by all...A private memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
