James A. Vissia's Obituary
Mr. James Albert Vissia, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday morning, July 28, 2007. A life resident of Muskegon, Jim was born March 12, 1950 to Albert and Nina (Westing) Vissia. He was a member and former Deacon of Bethany Christian Reformed Church and was active with Youth for Christ and Habitat for Humanity. Jim had been an accountant for Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference. On August 1, 1972 he married the former Henrietta Stam in Modesto, CA; and she survives him along with their son, Lewis of East Granby, CT; 1 brother and his wife, Alan and Judy Vissia of Fremont, MI and their children, Steve (Heidi) Vissia and Julie (Tom) Karnemaat. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1PM Monday at Bethany Christian Reformed Church (1105 Terrace St.) with Pastor David Sieplinga and Mr. Ed Drake officiating. VISITATION with Jim’s family will be one-hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Youth for Christ will be appreciated. Arrangements by
