James A. Wright's Obituary
Mr. Carl Alfred Wright, age 77, died Thursday morning, October 9, 2003, at his home. He was born December 3, 1925 in Sullivan Twp and returned to the Muskegon area following his career in the U.S. Navy. Carl was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church and Charter Member the VFW – Derezinski Post #7729. He was proud of his family, country and service in the military; and enjoyed reading, camping and traveling. On March 18, 1951 he married the former Helen Kent and she survives him along with 5 children, Carl (Becky) Wright of Saline, Rosemary Harris, Patrick Wright, Lawrence (Barbara) Wright and Aimee (Peter) Maas, all of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 1 brother, Arthur Wright of Dallas, TX; in-laws, Patti Wright, John (Rose) Kent, Eileen Kent, Ruth Bartels, Margaret Goldschneider and MaryJane Campbell; his best-friends, Ron & Jan Stratton and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Gladys (Adams) Wright; step-father, Oscar Adams; 1 brother and 2 sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1 PM Saturday at Fellowship Reformed Church with Rev. Greg VanderMeer, officiating. VISITATION with Carl’s family will be 6-8 PM Friday at
