Unlce Jim was a special man. I have many fond memories. I mostly remember him laughing, which made me laugh too! Once, when I was very young, he held out his hands, in one was a nickle and the other a dime. He asked, "Do you want the big one or the little one?" I thought long and hard and chose the little one. He called me very SMART. I will never forget he said I was smart. And I have collected dimes since - a small reminder to be smart. Sometimes, it is the little things that make an important and lasting impression - smiles, laughter, hugs, kind words... He was good at all of those. I'm sorry he had to leave us so soon. He will be missed.
Peace be with you,
