Margaret,
I just heard about Jim and am so sorry for you and your family's loss. When we first started having the Vandervelde reunions, I didn't really hardly know anyone and felt a little awkward or out of place. But then this Great man who turned out to be my Great Uncle, made me feel so welcomed and such a part of the family. Jim always greeted me with such a big hug and warm smile and he always made me smile so much. I really looked forward to seeing him each summer at the reunions and I'll miss him. To Margaret and family my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.The time I spent working with Jimmy was never a dull moment. I learned many tricks of the trade by his side. Break time on construction sites are what will stand out for me. Jimmy would get coffee out, and Margaret's homemade cookies. Jimmy I will miss you, but every coffeebreak you will be there. Thanks for everything. Steve "the doorman" Allison##imported-begin##Steven L. Allison##imported-end##
