James F. Rottman's Obituary
Mr. James F. Rottman, age 56, died Monday morning, August 9, 2004, at Hackley Hospital. He was born July 24, 1948 in Muskegon to Harold & Helen (Roth) Rottman and resided here until enlisting in the US Navy in January of 1967. Jim returned to the Muskegon area in September of 1987 after serving in the Navy for 21 years. He was employed at INTECO and was a member of American Legion Post 9. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. SURVIVORS include his wife, Judith (Keur); 3 sons, James Rottman, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, Thomas Rottman and Patrick (Jennifer) Rottman of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Ashlynn Rottman and Jared Rottman; his step-mother, Lois Rottman of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Nancy (Don) Rhodes and Mary (Bruce) Anderegg, both of Muskegon; 2 nieces, Tracie (Troy) Crowell and daughter, Skylar and Lisa Anderegg; 1 nephew, Brian Anderegg ; 7 step-children and 13 step-grandchildren. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Friday, August 13, 2004, at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue,Muskegon, MI 49442, 231-726-5210. VISITATION with Jim’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday. MEMORIAL GIFTS to the Hackley Cancer Center will be appreciated.
