James Frank Wadaga's Obituary
Mr. James F. Wadaga, age 82, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009, at his home. He was born September 30, 1926, in Waukegan, IL, to Frank and Teresa (Scrantany) Wadaga. He married the former Marian E. Hall in Muskegon on August 26, 1950. Mr. Wadaga was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was employed at S.D. Warren for 46 years until his retirement in 1993. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and later served with the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1953. SURVIVORS include: his wife, Marian; children, Chris (Richard) Foster, Theresa (Kent) Briggs, Kathleen (Michael) Cicholski, Joann (Mick) Moks, Diann (Ron) Tyczynski, Annette (David) Newton, Lynnette Bloomberg and Jim (Chris) Wadaga; grandchildren, David Foster, Brandon and Brittany Briggs, Jason (Shayla) Suchecki, Wendy (Jeff) Green, Heather (Gary) Cole, Michael and Whitney Moks, Jennifer and Mathew Tyczynski, Jessica and Veda Newton, Joshua Bloomberg, Andrew and Amy Wadaga; siblings, Barbara (Dick) Edwards, Theresa (Con) Sullivan, John (Rose) Wadaga, Peter Wadaga, Paul Wadaga and Pauline (Lynn) Shuey; also 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Thomas Wadaga. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at
