James G. "Jim" Sepulveda's Obituary
Mr. James G. “Jim” Sepulveda, age 65, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Tender Care in Holland, MI. He was born April 6, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to Gilbert and Arlene (Esh) Sepulveda and lived in the Muskegon area since his early childhood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. He married the former Mary J. Wood in Muskegon on July 13, 1984 and she survives him. Prior to retirement in 2008, he worked in maintenance for Almond Products for 15 years. He enjoyed his computer, cooking and was a New York Yankees Fan. Jim attended Life Change Church in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include his wife, Mary; 5 children, Eric (Amanda) Sepulveda of Spring Lake, Adam (Chandra) Martinez of Norton Shores, Anne (Jerry) Booher of New Era, Stephanie (James) Pearcy of Muskegon Heights, Katherine (Eduardo) Gomez of Norton Shores; 14 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Mike (Joy) Ponce of Fruitport, Tim (Sharon) Ponce of Muskegon, Tom (Linda) Ponce of Muskegon; 1 sister, Georgia (Gabe) Rodriguez of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane; grandson, Riley James; parents; stepfather, Raymond Ponce; brother, Antonio; sister, Ramona. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2010 at Life Change Church (3084 Whitehall Road). VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Friday at the church. INTERMENT with full military honors will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
