James "Greg" Jarles' Obituary
Mr. James Gregory Jarles, age 57, passed away Monday morning, June 29, 2009 at his home. He was born in Muskegon on June 29, 1952 to Rev. James Earl and Eva Lois (Brethauer) Jarles and was a life resident. Greg was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the NRA and loved hunting, especially for bear. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and they all loved him. On June 10, 1972, he married the former Sandra J. Voss and she survives him along with 4 children, Andrea (Allen) Twining, Samantha (Mike Morin) Jarles, Christopher (Sandy) Jarles, Crystal (Jason) Blackwell; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Eva L. Jarles; 1 brother, Marion Jarles; 1 sister, Rose Smith; several nieces, nephews and many, many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James E. Jarles; 3 brothers, Pete, Tom and Mark Jarles and 2 sisters, Barb Assink and Lillian “Sis” Bukowski. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 7PM Friday, July 3, 2009 at Crystal and Jason’s home (921 Chandler, Muskegon, MI 49442). VISITATION with the family will be from 5-7PM at the house.
