James L. Groesbeck's Obituary
James L. Groesbeck, age 64, of Nunica passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born October 28, 1942, in Lansing, MI, to Harold and Lucille (Zuck) Groesbeck, and he married the former Sharon Johnson on June 15, 1962, in Lansing.
Jim graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and was employed as a supervisor for Oldsmobile in Lansing. He moved to the Tri-Cities area 17 years ago. He enjoyed bowling, yard work, and football, and he was an avid NASCAR and Tony Stewart fan.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon; a daughter, Christine (David) Wolfe of Fruitport; a son, James (Jamie) Groesbeck of Spring Lake; three grandchildren: Jordan, Adam, and Jacob; a sister-in-law, Sandi Hoggard of Coopersville who lovingly devoted her time to helping with Jim’s care; and a brother, Tom (Linda) Groesbeck of Lansing.
A time of remembering and sharing will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Stan’s Bar in Spring Lake.
