James O. Haynes' Obituary
Mr. James O. Haynes, age 76, passed away December 22, 2009 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on March 20, 1933 to Joseph and Malissie (Garrett) Haynes in Monroe, MI. Mr. Haynes retired from Sealed Power Hy-Lift and he was a member of the U.A.W. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, baseball, the beach, football and the lotto. Mr. Haynes always enjoyed his time with friends at Mr. Quick. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Terri (Richard) Wilder, Gail (Raymond) Scott, Steven Haynes, Randall Haynes and Jeff Haynes; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Lloyd (Rhonda) Haynes, Curtis Haynes and Harvey Haynes; 3 sisters, Amy Sickles, Eunice Self and Ruby (Ron) Pope; special friend, Shirley Haynes. Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his son, David Allen Haynes, in 1953. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2PM Monday, December 28, 2009 at: The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor Gerald Hagans officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the Muskegon Rescue Mission would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
