3 weeks ago, after hip replacement, Jim helped my husband get out of the car to come in to the Beck house for a visit. He was an example of strength, courage and hope - for us all. I cannot begin to imagine the number of people's lives Jim has touched along the way, but I know he still walks with us, and will help guide us as our journey through life continues. We will always miss you, Jim.##imported-begin##Vickie & Ed Kramer##imported-end##
The service was beautiful today. I'm sure Jim loved it. I was 21 and my mother was 52 when she died. Heather just told me last night that those ages are the same for her and Jim. My mother died of cancer too, however at the time, the doctors did not give the family the impression that she was leaving us. At the funeral I remember the priest saying that God sometimes wants to take the best roses home to Him sooner than we want to let them go. My Mom and Jim were some of the best roses. After all these years I continue to believe that she has watched from afar as I got married to Steve and have been happy and watched me raise my children that have not met her yet. We must trust God that we can be joyful together with those special roses again someday too.
Love,

Jim became part of our lives around 1985 when Harbor Town Construction did remodeling on our house. In 1987, we contacted Jim to build our new house. Through the years the friendship from this has continued. There are just too many words to describe him and the indiviual he was, leave alone the stories told. We are glad to say we were blessed to have him as part of our lives and he will be sorely missed. With our deepest sympanthy,

As I run the Phoenix marathon on Sunday, January 11, 2004, I will be taking the memory of Jim along with me as a companion. His strength and courage will be a great source of motivation to reflect upon. His life was a gift to everyone that had the pleasure to know him and call him a friend.##imported-begin##Jim Blais##imported-end##
Boy, times sure flies...it doesn't seem that long ago since we all hung out together in high school. Jim was just an all around good guy and we always had a good time whatever we did. I know that he will be sadly missed not only by his family, but also by his many friends. May God bring peace to you, Linda, Jamie and Heather and give you the strength for the days ahead.##imported-begin##Wayne and June Kamp##imported-end##
While being the Parish bookkeeper, I met Jim while he served on fianace council at Prince of Peace. I also had the pleasure of going on a Mediterranean cruise several years ago with Gerry Gouin. On the cruise Gerry melted her curling iron and burned the ends of her hair. I asked her if she had a converter and she said no but she had an adapter. I told Gerry that the converter reduces the current from 220 to 110. She had to go to the on-board beauty shop so they could fix the damage to her hair. Well, when I told Jim this story, he laughed and said that he would have to call Gerry "220" from now one. He had a great sense of humor.
Linda, stay strong, the Lord will hold you in the palm of His hands as long as you need him and then some. Take care and God be with you and your family.
You are in my prayers as is Jim
God Bless
