Mrs. Bussard was an incredibly wise, patient, comical, and lovely lady. I admired her elegance and sophistication along with her drive to see her students succeed and earn that success. A she has been reunited with her husband and loves ones, her spirit lives on as does her legacy. My sincere condolences to her children and family on their loss of an amazing lady.

Sorry for your loss. Her sister Carmen was my grandmother, and I remember going up to Michigan as a young kid to Jan’s house (we knew her as Great Aunt), where I sprayed my grandfather Ken with the hose and he chased me around the yard!

Jody - Steve and I are so sorry for your loss. We know how much your mom meant to you and your children. I know she really appreciated all that you did for her to make sure she could stay in her home for as long as possible and then to find her such a nice place to be in the end. I delivered Meal-on-Wheels to Jan on Thursdays. I always admired her wonderful spirit and kindness when I came to her door. When her name didn't appear on my delivery list, I was sadden and hoped for the best. She was an amazing person. Glad I got to know her.
