Jan Marie (Lamb) Fors' Obituary
Jan Marie (Lamb) Fors, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2016. She was born in Muskegon on March 15, 1961 to William and Carole (Harjes) Lamb, Jr. Jan was an auxiliary member of the Don Rea VFW Post #8846. She enjoyed planting, gardening, hunting, fishing, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her fiance, Gary. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kristen Fors; her fiance, Gary Medema; her brothers, Gary Lamb and Steve (Patsy) Lamb; her sister, Marsha Franklin; three nieces and three nephews; and her former husband, Robert Fors. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenny Lamb. A CELEBRATION of Jan’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION with her family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2016 and from 10-11 AM Wednesday. Donations may be made to her family to help with funeral expenses.
