Jane W. Bensinger's Obituary
Jane W. Bensinger, age 96, passed away April 26, 2020 at Heartwood lodge from natural causes. She was born on July 24, 1923 to Willis and Gertrude (Cryderman) McCune in Kent City, Mi. Jane loved to cook and worked for Muskegon Catholic Central in food service, Muskegon General Hospital in housekeeping and some time at Walmart as a greeter. On March 25, 1944, she married Herbert W. Bensinger in Sparta, MI and he preceded her in death in 1963. SURVIVORS include son, Jerry (Kathy) Bensinger; daughter-in-law, Anne Bensinger; 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and 2 special nieces. Jane was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, George McCune; sister, Catherine Stafford; son, Paul Bensinger; daughter and son-in-law, Janet (John) Kremmel; granddaughter, Dana Johnson; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bill (Denise) Anderson. A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE will be held for Jane due to the current service restrictions. MEMORIALS can be directed to North Ottawa Care Center – Heartwood Lodge Activity Fund.
