Mrs. Jane C. Hubbell's Obituary
Jane C. Hubbell, age 88, of Muskegon, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Home. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her 3 daughters, Sherida Lea (Robert) Flohr, Susan Rae (Paul) Hershey, and Sandra Jo (Robert) Thompson; seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Mark) Kohler, Melissa Hiles, Joshua Thompson, Brandon (Nichole) Hershey, Jesse (Maranda) Thompson, Cory (Kristi) Hershey, and Brett (Brittney) Hershey; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Jane was the daughter of Homer and Ardeth (Rinard) Chesebro whom preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Paul; brother, David (Leora) Chesebro; and brother-in-law, Burt Brown. Jane was a nurse for 25 years at Muskegon General Hospital before her retirement in 1995. She loved her family dearly, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jane and Paul loved traveling, from trips to Alaska all the way to Key West. She also had a love for nature, the beautiful flowers and wild animals. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Noon Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, 3593 Whitehall Rd. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service (11AM-12PM). Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Tuesday at 2:30 PM. In Lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission or Kindred Hospice.
