Janet C. Bleich's Obituary
Janet C. Bleich, age 78 passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016. She was born on March 13, 1938 to Clarence and Ethel Arneberg. Janet loved knitting, reading and watching her Detroit Tigers play baseball. She was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church. Everything Janet did was meant to benefit others, from knitting for the poor to lending a hand Janet was there to help. On September 28, 1957 she married the love of her life, Edward Bleich who survives her. She is also survived by her children, David Bleich, Jim Bleich, Randy (Virginia) Bleich, Karen (Marc) Norman; grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Kevin, Stephanie, Kelsey, Amy, Ryan, Kara, Seth; many great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Char Brentana. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul Arneberg, Don Arneberg and granddaughter, Jeni Bleich. VISITATION with Janet’s family will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) and an hour prior to services at church. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Janet will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd.) with Pastor Bill Uetricht presiding.
