Janet K. Coverly's Obituary
Mrs. Janet K. Coverly, age 70, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Poppen Residence. She was born February 24, 1942 in Muskegon to Cliff and Dena (Batten) Schuiteman, and resided in the West Michigan area all of her life. She was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church. On June 17, 1960, she married Charles Coverly, and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1997. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Ken (Lynne) Coverly of Rothbury, Kim (Loren) Lord of Wichita, KS, and Kris Coverly of Iron Mountain, MI; 4 grandchildren, Ken (Nicole) Coverly, Lance (Brooke) Lord, Amanda Rundquist, and Lucas Baffi, 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, JoAnn (Joel) Kantola; 3 brothers, Don (Boots) Schuiteman, Richard Schuiteman and Sharon, Clark (Kelly) Schuiteman; and sister-in-law, Sherri Schuiteman; many nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Janet was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ray Schuiteman. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2PM Thursday at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church (1568 West Giles Rd.), with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen and Rev. Ben Jansen officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2PM. Memorial Contributions to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
