Janet H. Dunlevy's Obituary
Janet H. Dunlevy, age 93, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020. She was born on April 2, 1927 to Louis and Vera (Dray) Hatch in East Liverpool, OH. She graduated from Westminster College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s in education. With her education, she became a kindergarten school teacher and worked for numerous years before retiring in 1977. She married the love of her life, James Dunlevy, on July 2, 1949 in New Wilmington, PA. Together they cherished 50 years of marriage full of memories. He preceded her in death in 1999. Janet enjoyed knitting and was a member of a knitting club for some time. She was also an avid golfer and would also play tennis in her spare time. Above all things, her family and friends meant the world to her. She was a social and personable woman who appreciated the time she spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her three daughters, Catharine Makary (Vaughn), Judith Liken (Dean), and Lorri Campbell; six grandchildren, Meghan Kanzer (Steve), Tudor Dixon (Aaron), James Liken, Jordan Liken, Hollen Campbell and Timothy Campbell, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband, James Dunlevy. Due to the current health restrictions, a Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at a later date.
