My sister, Jan, was the middle child of three girls, all of whom loved to sing. On the Sunday drives to visit our grandparents who lived near Hart, Michigan, we three would sing mostly hymns we had learned at our neighborhood church. She loved the Lord and music always. She taught Sunday School and headed that program at her church for years. After she retired from teaching and moved to Senior Living, our visits were punctuated by the singing of the old hymns which we still sang with gusto! Jan and I traveled together occasionally and enjoyed trips together. Notably, we went by train to Quebec City in Canada, to Sedona, Arizona and crossed Canada by train from Toronto to the Maritine Provinces. We had our first Kayaking together on Beaver Island and laughed at our early efforts and the got pretty good, Good times.
