Janette A. Hyde's Obituary
Janette “Jeannie” Adelia Hyde, age 83, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born in Winnetka, IL, on August 28, 1940, to Albertis and Elizabeth (Barroll) Wright. She spent most of her life in Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Marywood Academy, and then attended Ferris State University. She went on to work as a receptionist at Michigan National Bank for many years. Jeannie enjoyed listening to music, especially Tom Jones, and she loved cats and giraffes. She was always smiling and kept a positive outlook. Jeannie will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Lucinda McGettigan; three nephews: Michael (Janet) McGettigan, Mark (Theresa) McGettigan, and Timothy McGettigan; and many friends and extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albertis and Elizabeth Wright, and her brother in-law, David McGettigan. A Celebration of Life for Janette will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to The Humane Society of West Michigan.
