Janette K. Posthumus' Obituary
Mrs. Janette K. Posthumus age 66, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2005. She was born on March 3, 1939 to Marvin and Bernice (Ludlam) Reed in Muskegon and had been a life resident of the area. She enjoyed yardwork, gardening, traveling and had a love for polka, but loved her family most of all. On September 20, 1958 she married Ronald J. Posthumus in Muskegon and he survives her along with 4 children. Terry (Jane) Posthumus of Spring Lake, Debra (Michael) Wilson of London, OH, Dianne (Louise) Gordon of Newaygo, and JoAnne (John) Yates of Fruitport; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; her mother Bernice Reed and 1 sister, Jeanne Funnell of Norton Shores. Janette was preceded in death by her father Marvin Reed. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the Sytsema Funeral Home, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442;231-726-5210 with Pastor Jonathan Rager officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday. Interment will take place in Fruitport Twp. Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Hackley VNS Hospice.
