Janice enjoyed the simple things in life. She could be found on any given Friday or Saturday night being sashayed around some dance floor by her lifelong dance partner to their favorite country music. She enjoyed the thousands of miles traveled on the back of the motorcycle driven by her favorite biker. She enjoyed and thoroughly cherished the countless hours spent sitting in the front yard swing next to her best friend just talking and watching cars go by.
Janice’s life was a shining example of tolerance, kindness, compassion, and she loved unconditionally. She was a beacon of optimism and saw the good in everyone. She never wasted one precious breathe, or one ounce of energy on anything that could be hurtful, or cause pain to anyone. She put others needs before her own expecting nothing in return. This world has lost a beautiful human being.
Cremation has taken place and per her wishes no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
