Mrs. Janice V. Price, age 81, passed away Saturday evening, October 18, 2003 in Muskegon. She was born March 27, 1922 to Joseph and Mertie (Grove) Parth in Mt. Pleasant, MI, and lived in several different areas before coming to the Muskegon area. She loved to garden, and had the name of the Garden Lady, enjoyed ceramics, and crocheted booties for the crisis pregnancy center in Arkansas. She had been a member of the Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church in Arkansas, the Moorland Community Church, and presently was attending the Wolf Lake Baptist Church. She married her husband Allan Price on December 28, 1956 in Kalamazoo, and he preceded her in death 18 years ago. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Laura (Steve) Hilton of Ravenna, Rachel (Ted) Warner of Russelville, AR; 7 grandchildren, Loundy, Michael, Kristin, and Jenna Hilton, Ashley, Brandon, and Autumn Warner; 1 brother, Loundy (Florence) Parth of Saginaw; 1 sister, Irene (Marvin) Kincade; 1 sister-in-law, Marcia Price of Kalamazoo. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 4 grandchildren. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 20, at the Wolf Lake Baptist Church, with Rev. Burt Wachter officiating.
