Janice Joy "JJ" Sunagel's Obituary
Janice Joy “JJ” Sunagel, age 67, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home. She was born May 26, 1953 in Muskegon to George J. and Mary I. (Stickles) Deater and was a life resident of the area. JJ worked many years for Muskegon Public Schools and later for Walmart Stores. On August 21, 1971, she married Sparty D. Sunagel in Muskegon. Survivors include her husband, Sparty; 2 children, Matthew Eric (Brenda) Sunagel and Jennifer (Noe) Busman; 9 grandchildren, Kaitlynn (Joe) Risi, Bradley Sunagel, Brittani (Geoffrey) McComb, Samara Sunagel, Angel (Markous) Chambers, Benjamin Sunagel, Cheyenne Barnard, Amanda Rutkowski, Laci Coffell; and 9 great-grandchildren, Elena Rose, Nicholas, Noah, Carter, Laurel, Jameson, Raynn, Amaya, and Jalen. She was preceded in death by 3 children, Benjamin Sunagel, Mari Louise Sunagel, and Sweetheart Sunagel. Private Graveside Services will be held at Nunica Cemetery.
