Janice B. Swierczewski's Obituary
Janice B. Swierczewski, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Poppen Residence. She was born on July 22, 1941 to Matthew and Albina (Berno) Kaminski in Waterbury, Connecticut. Janice was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was currently a member at St. Thomas Catholic Church. On June 16, 1962 she married, John Adam Swierczewski, Sr., and they spent 56 loving years together. John survives her along with her children, John A. (Amy) Swierczewski, Jr., Christine Johnson; grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Erin, Matthew, Joshua, Hannah; sisters, Joyce, Barbara, Ellen and siblings-in-law, Joseph, Marilee and Lenore. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Heidi French. A CASUAL GATHERING for Janice’s family and friends will take place at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231-759-8565) on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. For a more lasting memory, donations in Janice’s name can be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
