Jean M. Biggart (Rizley)'s Obituary
Jean Marie Biggart (Rizley), age 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1930 to John and Josephine (Fitzgibbons) Gauck in Chicago, Illinois. Jean enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She liked camping in her RV and traveling especially to Alaska and Hawaii. Jean was a volunteer for hospice and a member of the Arizona Red Hat Society. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Muskegon. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Dawn) Rizley, Craig (Bonnie) Rizley, Kathy (Don) Knight, Karen (Dan) Mogdics; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Rizley; her second husband, James Biggart; sister, Evelyn Timmins; brother, Jack Gauck; and grandson, Wayne T. Rizley, Jr. A MEMORIAL MASS for Jean will take place at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (239 W. Clay Ave.) on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. VISITATION with the family will take place one hour prior to Mass at Church. The capacity for Mass will be 100 people. For a more lasting memory, donations in Jean’s name can be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Thank you to Harbor Hospice for the love and compassion you showed to Jean throughout the years in your care. Burial will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery.
