Jean Bucher's Obituary
Mrs. Jean L. Bucher, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born March 12, 1929 in Muskegon to William and Adele (Jankowski) Rasinske, and resided in the area all of her life. Mrs. Bucher worked at Mercy Hospital as a nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed her cottage up north, fishing, and loved to be outside in her yard. Jean also loved the many hunting trips with her husband, Hubert. On November 27, 1948 she married Hubert Bucher and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2007. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Linda (Paul) Anderson of Muskegon, Michael (Kelly) Bucher of Hart, MI, Carol (Doyle) Gray of Muskegon; 4 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wilma Lorenz of Muskegon, Irene (Steve) Humenick of Grand Rapids; sisters-in-law, Carol Rasinske and Ruby Sleaford; and her nieces and nephews. Jean was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Frank Staigvil and Edward Rasinske; and sister, Anna Luzadder. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM.
