Mrs. Jean C. Falony Poulson's Obituary
Jean C. Falony Poulson, age 85, passed away at her home, Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was born May 28, 1929 in Muskegon to Henry and Dorothy (Hanley) Rambow and had been a life-long resident. Jean had been a Pharmacy Technician at Straayer’s Pharmacy for 14 years and was also a custom dress maker for over 45 years. She was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where she had served in the Altar Guild and taught Sunday school. Jean was a Muskegon Elks Lodge #274 Auxiliary member, enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting, and gardening. On June 25, 1949 she married Albert M. Falony and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1994. She then married Lawrence D. Poulson in Muskegon on August 15, 1998 and he also preceded her in death on August 30, 2007. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Brian (Nancy) Falony of Lawrenceville, GA, Lynne (Lawrence, Jr.) Osborn, Heather (Eric) Sturr both of Norton Shores; 9 grandchildren: Erica (Eskild) Hoff, Scott (Jaime) Osborn, Meagan (Andy) Duckworth, Elizabeth (Thomas) Cross, Nicholas and Adam Falony, Brendan, Alec, and Connor Sturr; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Bultema of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat “Chloe.” She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Frederick and Walter Rambow. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1006 Third St., Muskegon, MI 49440, with Fr. Jared Cramer presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Altar Guild or Harbor Hospice.
