Jean McKinnon's Obituary
Mrs. Jean McKinnon, age 89, passed away at a local hospital Saturday, April 23, 2005 following a brief illness. She was born January 31, 1916 in Calumet, MI to John and Nora (Duchemin) Cadwell and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On October 8, 1941, she married Robert D. McKinnon in Calumet and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1979. She was a long-time member of First Congregational Church and volunteered at Hackley Hospital for over 20 years with the Cherry Guild. SURVIVORS include 3 daughters, Sharon (Edwin) Yagerlener of Costa Mesa, CA, Marjorie (Derek) Rowell of South Natick, MA, Susan (William) Baldwin of Grand Ledge, MI; 6 grandchildren, Mike, Christopher, Jennifer and Justin Yagerlener, Kirk and Heather Baldwin; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan Davenport and Ryan Yagerlener. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at First Congregational Church with the Rev. Sally Sithe officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be 7-9 PM this evening (Monday) at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565.
