Dear Family of my Dear Friend Jean: (This photo is not the picture of my memories, way back in Country School) She was 2 years younger, but we were great pals. She was privileged to attend basket-ball games with her Dad, and siblings, when her sisters were in HS. "Dad said I had to sit quietly beside him, but he became so interested in the game, that he did not notice when I got up, and ran around in the hall with friends--then slipped quietly back in my seat". When we were in HS, occasionally, we double dated. I became an RN, and she a Lab Technician, so we did work together in the Platte Hospital for a few years. One snowy night, she was in a car accident, I took care of her as a patient. After she moved to Michigan, we wrote letters at Christmas, and our birthdays,but the last few years, it was more often.
