Jean A. Pouch's Obituary
Mrs. Jean A. Pouch, age 85, passed away at home on August 15, 2012. She was born on June 12, 1927 to Nicholas and Lena (Palmer) Glasen in Muskegon. Jean had worked many years at Gardner Denver in Grand Haven prior to her retirement in the late 1970’s. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Jean cared greatly for her family and loved spending time with them. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. On November 25, 1946 she married Vernon Pouch in Muskegon and he survives her along with 4 children, Ronald F. (Terri) Pouch, Frank T. Pouch, Nicholas D. (Jenelle Curry) Pouch and Evelyn M. (Robert) Thompson; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marilyn; son, Vernon; 1 sister and 4 brothers. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake (406 E. Savidge St.) with Rev. Fr. Daniel DePew presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Fruitport Cemetery.
