He was loved by his family and caregivers. He never missed saying "thank you" .
I am Jean's youngest daughter, and while we may not have always seen eye-to-eye, I always knew that my father loved me. When I was little, occasionally my father would fix a concoction he called "American Chili" for dinner. After I moved to Kentucky in 1974, there were times I missed my father greatly. At those times I would fix Dad's American Chili for dinner and my kitchen smelled like I was right back home with him I think it's time to fix some for dinner. I miss you Dad and will honor you always.
I have some good memories of our family. Dancing at their wedding to We Are Family, and going to Kentucky for the first time( the Pacer and Duster caravan). We went to the race track and Jean let me bet on a horse!
