Jean Lorraine Crocker's Obituary
Mrs. Jean L. Crocker, age 81, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born September 4, 1925 in Muskegon to Claude and Gina (Westerland) Misner and was a life resident of the area. On November 13, 1960, she was married to Charles G. Crocker and he preceded her in death in 1985. She worked 17 years as a waitress for the former Lakos Restaurant and later worked for her family business, Misner’s Food Market. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Larry (Shirley) McCarthy, Charles (Carla) Crocker, Richard (Kathy) Crocker, and Carla (Phil VanderStelt) Crocker; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Michelle Crocker, her parents, 1 brother, Jack Howard Misner, and 1 sister, Joyce Arlene Locke. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2007, at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with Pastor Bobby Cabot officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to the family.
